Energiekontor sells Waldfeucht wind farm

Bremen, 1^st October 2019 - Energiekontor AG has sold the Waldfeucht wind farm to the Hamburg-based CEE Group. The Waldfeucht wind farm is located in North Rhine-Westphalia west of Heinsberg not far from the border with the Netherlands. There, three Nordex wind turbines with a hub height of 125 m and a capacity of 4.5 MW each will generate an expected annual yield of around 35 million kilowatt hours. This amount of electricity is mathematically sufficient to cover the needs of more than 8,500 households.

The purchase price was not disclosed. Debt financing was provided by DKB Deutsche Kreditbank AG, with whom Energiekontor and CEE have worked with on a number of transactions.

The company went public on 25 May 2000. The shares of Energiekontor AG (WKN 531350 / ISIN DE0005313506) are listed in the General Standard of Deutsche Börse in Frankfurt and can be traded on all German stock exchanges.
